CEREC Crowns & Veneers in Leeds

At LS1 Dental in Leeds, we are proud to introduce our in-house CEREC 3D Ceramic Studio. With this advanced system, we can quickly restore damaged teeth and improve the appearance of teeth, using permanent natural coloured ceramic restorations.

CEREC 3D is a conservative, computerized system. It eliminates the need for impressions and temporary restorations when preparing for veneers, crowns and fillings hence reducing the number of visits required to just one! A powdered image of the tooth is taken with a CAD CAM 3D camera. The restoration is then designed and sent to an on-sight milling machine, which instantly cuts the restoration from a solid porcelain block ready to fit. This ground breaking technology, enables treatment to be fully completed within two hours.

Using this technology, chipped and discoloured teeth can be replaced with porcelain crowns and veneers. Broken down molars can be restored using inlays and onlays. Unsightly silver fillings can be a thing of the past. To read more about CEREC click here.

CEREC TECHNOLOGY IN LEEDS

Sirona Dental Systems CEREC 3D, is the world's only computerized system, used for the fabrication of ceramic restorations in one visit. Crowns, veneers and fillings can be completed within a single visit to your Leeds cerec dentist. For you the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.

Why are thousands of people world-wide choosing the CEREC 3D treatment?
Worldwide, a CEREC 3D restoration is placed every 20 seconds. With a history of nearly 20 years, this equipment has helped dentists place over 6 million restorations. Using metal free materials that are close to your natural enamel, CEREC 3D gives you the high quality restorative care.

Single Appointment Dental Care
Most dental restorative treatment requires more than one visit to the dentist. The first visit usually involves an injection of anesthesia, tooth preparation, impression taking and the placement of a temporary restoration. A second appointment is then made to pry off the temporary restoration and replace it with a permanent laboratory built restoration. Again, an injection may be required. Why go to the dentist a second time when you don't have to? With CEREC 3D, the procedure is completed in a single appointment, start to finish.

Finest Dental Material
A CEREC 3D tooth restoration isn't just convenient, it is also healthy. In the past, dentists had few options to repair decayed and damaged teeth other than amalgam, gold and other metals. With CEREC 3D your Leeds dentist can use strong, tooth colored porcelain to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty and function. Porcelain closely matches the composition of natural tooth structure. As a result, when you eat hot food and then drink something cold, the restoration and tooth expand and contract at almost equal rates. This reduces the likelihood of cracked teeth. Further, the porcelain is chemically bonded to your tooth, so that it is possible to save healthy tooth tissue whilst providing a dental restoration that strengthens your tooth.

Smile Enhancement
Your Leeds dentist can make beautiful CEREC 3D porcelain anterior crowns or veneers for chipped, crooked or discolored front teeth. Your smile makes a lasting first impression, enhance it with CEREC 3D. CEREC 3D crowns, veneers and fillings resemble the composition of natural tooth structure and are both anti-abrasive and plaque resistant.
